Slash TV

Slash TV is a mini-game unlocked after completing the mission "The Portland Chainsaw Masquerade" for Vincenzo Cilli. It's about 30 missions into the story, so you won't gain access until you've completed almost all of the mission in Portland.

The mini-game itself continues the theme of the mission where you have to defend yourself by taking out swarms of attacking maniacs who are equipped with chainsaws. The camera is locked to a high, TV-style viewpoint as enemies attack from the four corners of the room.

Once it's unlocked, you'll also unlock the Overalls outfit. Toni must change into this outfit in order to take part in Slash TV. In addition, it can only be started at night time, between 18:00 and 05:00.

Time Limits & Rules

There's no time limit on the mission, you just have to keep killing until each wave is completed.

Toni can use any weapon in his inventory and all enemies will attack with chainsaws. Upon killing enemies, they will drop weapons and ammo, with health and armor pickups also available around the mission area.

First Run

The first time you play Slash TV, you'll be tasked with killing homeless pedestrians wielding chainsaws. They aren't well armored and will go down in a single shot from a .357 Python or a few bullets from various other guns.

After finishing the first run, you'll be rewarded with a more powerful weapon.

Second Run

After completing the first run, attempting the mission again will see Toni facing off against giant chickens. Or rather people wearing the Liberty City Cocks mascot outfit. They have more health and will usually take at least two hits to kill.

After completing the second run, you'll unlock the minigun.

Tips

Stock up on plenty of ammo before starting the mission.

Allowing enemies to get close and blasting them with a shotgun will take them down in one shot, even on the 2nd run.

The enemies you kill will drop lots of cash. Make sure you run around and collect it when you have a chance.

Rewards

After completing the second run, the Cox Mascot outfit (giant chicken suit) will be unlocked for Toni to equip from his safehouse.

Two Slash TV runs must be completed as a requirement towards 100% completion.
