Rampages
Map, screenshot and text locations of all 20 rampages in GTA Liberty City Stories.
GTA Liberty City Stories, much like GTA 3 which came before it, features 20 rampages scattered across the three islands of Liberty City, and they're all required for 100% completion. Unlike GTA 3 however, each rampage only has a single spawn point. If you fail, it will simply respawn exactly where you found it.
Completing Rampages
Walk over a rampage icon (a white skull in a blue circle) to start the mission.
Once it starts, you'll be given a specific weapon with infinite ammo and be tasked with killing a set number of enemies - or destroying a number of vehicles - without dying yourself and before the 2 minute time limit runs out.
Plenty of enemies will spawn on the streets nearby which makes these challenges quite easy, particularly as they will usually spawn in groups with their gang, however, many of the enemies will attempt to attack you once you start shooting, so you'll need to keep moving. There may be some occasions where it's hard to find enough enemies to complete the rampage before running out of time.
Rampages cannot be replayed once they have been completed and the icon will disappear from the game.
Rampage Rewards
Each successful rampage will award the player with $50, however this is multiplied by the number of rampages completed in total. The first rampage will award $50, the second will award $100, the third offers $150 and so on up to $1000 for completing the 20th rampage.
In addition to the cash, once all 20 rampages are completed, Toni will unlock the M60 (heavy assault rifle) at all of his safehouses.

Gang Hostilities
As you progress through the story, some of the gangs in the game will become hostile towards you. This means as soon as they see you in their territory, they'll immediately chase and attack you. Because of this, it's recommended to complete the rampages as soon as you have access to each island.
Portland Rampages
There are 6 rampages to find and complete on the starting island of Portland. They are all accessible from the start of the game.
Rampage #1
Found in Chinatown, Portland. In an alleyway behind Mr Wong's Laundrette.
Objective
Gun down 30 Triads in 2 minutes! Using a AK-47.
Tips
The AK-47 is extremely powerful, has great aim and range and you can run quite fast while carrying it. This one shouldn't be much trouble at all. Just quickly lock onto the different enemies and blast away until they're gone. The Triads will shoot back, but your AK should be no match for their pistols.
Rampage #2
Found in Chinatown, Portland. Behind a wall, next to a tree at the Western corner of the road between the Red Light District and Chinatown.
Objective
Blow up 10 vehicles in 2 minutes! Using a Rocket Launcher.
Tips
Head to the main road under the train tracks and stay at the junction. Plenty of vehicles will spawn from all directions so just keep turning around and blowing them up. You'll probably get a wanted level, but this will help as the police cars are extra targets. Once you hit the target, the wanted level will be cleared, so keep going.
Rampage #3
Found in Harwood, Portland. Hidden down the side of the Borgnine Taxis building, right in front of the Head Radio headquarters.
Objective
Incinerate 25 Diablos in 2 minutes! Using a Flamethrower.
Tips
This one can be tricky because once you start shooting the flamethrower, enemies will run away. You need to get close to a group of 2 or 3 of them before opening fire. You'll also have to run back and forth down the street a few times to hopefully get enough enemies to spawn. I failed a few times because I couldn't catch enough enemies in the time limit, but keep trying and you'll get it in the end.
Rampage #4
Found in Saint Mark's, Portland. Hidden behind a small wall just across the road from Capital Autos and the gas station.
Objective
Burn 7 vehicles in 2 minutes! Using a Molotov Cocktails.
Tips
The Molotov Cocktail Rampages are much easier if you've completed the Firefighter missions, making you fireproof on foot. Then you can just run around dropping Molotov's everywhere. If not, you'll need to find somewhere that plenty of vehicles spawn then throw a Molotov into the center of them. One Molotov won't destroy any of the vehicles, you actually need to blow them up which will take two to three separate burns so you'll have to keep topping up the flames to ensure the vehicles blow up. Their occupants will flee as soon as their car catches fire, so it's just a case of throwing at the stationary targets and avoiding the cops. If you get lucky, all of the vehicles will be abandoned in the same blast radius and one explosion might take out 2 or 3 other vehicles.
Rampage #5
Found in Saint Mark's, Portland. At the East end of the long alleyway through Saint Mark's, on some grass behind the wall.
Objective
Kill 25 Leone mafia in 2 minutes! Using a Shotgun.
Tips
This is one of the most difficult rampages, mostly because it starts nowhere near the main street so you'll waste precious time running around to find enemies, but they can also spawn really badly too. I spent almost a minute without even finding one Leone mafia member. The shotgun is also fairly annoying in that one shot will knock anyone down, but you'll need to shoot them again to kill them which usually means waiting for them to get back up. If you can get lucky and find a ground of 3-6 enemies together, you should have no trouble racking up kills, but finding enough enemies and then avoiding the police can be a pain.
Rampage #6
Found in Portland View, Portland. On the grass at the South East corner of the building next to the Supa Save.
Objective
Run over 30 pedestrians in 2 minutes! Using a Vehicle.
Tips
Make sure you have a vehicle with you when you start the rampage. This one is really easy, just drive down the sidewalks splattering anyone who gets in your way.
Staunton Island Rampages
There are 7 rampages to find and complete on Staunton Island.
Rampage #7
Found in Rockford, Staunton Island. Right behind the sign for the hospital, across the road from the football stadium. You'll need to jump up to reach it.
Objective
Assassinate 30 Forellis in 2 minutes! Using a M4.
Tips
The M4 is a powerful killing machine with long range and rapid fire, but it does empty the magazine rather quickly meaning you might need to reload in the middle of a firefight. The Forelli's have decent weapons so they can do some damage meaning you'll want to keep moving and try to shoot from somewhere they can't spawn behind you.
Rampage #8
Found in Belleville Park, Staunton Island. In a doorway along the strip mall located between Belleville Park and the multi story car park.
Objective
Destroy 10 vehicles in 2 minutes! Using a Grenades.
Tips
There are plenty of vehicles driving past Belleville Park, so a few well placed grenades will blow up a few cars and stop traffic making it easier to find more to destroy, but you'll quite likely have cops all over you so you'll need to stay on the move to avoid being arrested.
Rampage #9
Found in Belleville Park, Staunton Island. Right in the center of the small island surrounded by water at the North end of the park.
Objective
Murder 30 pedestrians in 2 minutes! Using a Shotgun.
Tips
Unlike the Mafia shotgun rampage in Portland, this one is pretty easy. The park is full of pedestrians and none of them will shoot back, so it's just a case of running around and blasting away until you hit the target score.
Rampage #10
Found in Belleville Park, Staunton Island. At the top of the steps of a building directly South from Belleville Park.
Objective
Massacre 25 pedestrians in 2 minutes! Using a Chainsaw.
Tips
The chainsaw is a little bit odd as you can't run around 'firing' it constantly. You have to press the shoot button to use it over and over so the best technique is to run straight at the pedestrians and as you're about to touch them, tap shoot to attack them with the chainsaw. One hit will kill anyone so it's just a case of sprinting after people then slowing down slightly and tapping fire as you get close. Run around the block chasing people and you should be able to complete it just inside the time limit.
Rampage #11
Found in Torrington, Staunton Island. In the underground car park of the AmCo building.
Objective
Kill 25 Yakuza members in 2 minutes! Using a Flamethrower.
Tips
Grab the Flamethrower then run up the nearby stairs to the street above. There are usually plenty of Yakuza spawning nearby and they're often in groups of 3-5 so get close to them and open fire. Keep running back and forth down the street and turning around often to help more enemies spawn and you should manage this without too many problems.
Rampage #12
Found in Bedford Point, Staunton Island. In the bushes at the South West part of Donald Love's building.
Objective
Run over 40 pedestrians in 2 minutes! Using a Vehicle.
Tips
Grab a vehicle and park it nearby before you start. Something with a big of decent acceleration works best. You'll often find a Patriot driving around so acquire one of them. As soon as you start the rampage, run to your vehicle and just drive back and forth along the outer sidewalk, closest to the grass. Kill about 5-10 pedestrians then turn around and head back. You should easily be done within the time limit.
Rampage #13
Found in Bedford Point, Staunton Island. Down an alleyway just off the road which loops around the South West of Staunton Island.
Objective
Kill 30 Yakuza in 2 minutes! Using a Shotgun.
Tips
The stubby shotgun is a more efficient killer than the regular shotgun and often takes down enemies in a single hit. Plus the spread of the shot can kill multiple enemies in one go. You'll still need to do a lot of running back and forth to find enough enemies to kill, but when you approach a big group of them you can expect to take out 3-6 in mere seconds. As always, try to ignore the cops as you'll lose your wanted level the second you pass the rampage.
Shoreside Vale Rampages
There are 7 rampages to find and complete in Shoreside Vale.
Rampage #14
Found in Pike Creek, Shoreside Vale. On the rooftop awning of a warehouse at the East of Pike Creek. Accessible from the nearby stairs.
Objective
Destroy 10 vehicles in 2 minutes! Using a Rocket Launcher.
Tips
The Rocket Launcher takes out vehicles in one hit but you're best off with a higher vantage point to avoid the cops and explosions so make your way to the roof of the large warehouse next to where you start and just shoot the vehicles driving down the road below you. The target isn't particularly difficult and as you get a higher wanted level, the increased cops will make it easier to find extra vehicles to destroy.
Rampage #15
Found in Francis International Airport, Shoreside Vale. On the grass, behind some bushes to the South of Pike Creek, not far off the main road.
Objective
Snipe 25 pedestrians in 2 minutes! Using a Sniper Rifle.
Tips
Killing 25 enemies in 2 minutes is pretty tight given the sniper rifle's slow reload, Thankfully it's a 1 hit kill so you just need to be more careful with your shots and only fire when you're sure you'll hit a target. If you run straight ahead to the corner of the road with a triangle shaped wall and jump over it, you can just stand behind the wall taking out pedestrians in two directions with no one able to get close to you, but you'll be at ground height making it much easier to aim.
Rampage #16
Found in Pike Creek, Shoreside Vale. In the doorway of the large Liberty Phamaceuticals building in the center of Pike Creek. You'll need to head through a gap in the wall and make your way into the compound to find it.
Objective
Blow away 25 Colombian gangsters in 2 minutes! Using a Stubby Shotgun.
Tips
The Colombians come packing decent firepower, so you ideally want to try and avoid getting in a situation where they can surround you. Stick to the area where you start the rampage and run up and down the street. The Stubby Shotgun can take out groups of 3 in a single hit so get close and try to get all of them in a shot before firing. You'll probably need to do a lot of running back and forth in order to find enough enemies before the time limit expires.
Rampage #17
Found in Cochrane Dam, Shoreside Vale. On the Western-most observation pier at the top of the Cochrane Dam.
Objective
Massacre 35 pedestrians in 2 minutes! Using a Chainsaw.
Tips
I thought this was probably the hardest rampage in the game until I realised the chainsaw can lock onto enemies - you just need to be pretty damn close to them before it will. Use this to your advantage as you chase after the targets and only pull the trigger on the chainsaw when you lock on. Doing it this way is much easier than manually chasing everyone around because 35 kills is a hell of a lot for the Chainsaw. Not only do you have to sprint after your targets, who are running around and bouncing off the walls eratically, the chainsaw can't be used continuously and essentially needs to reload after every shot. You'll need to make every shot count and only pull the trigger when you've definitely got a target in front of you. Often the pedestrials will get stuck in the corners of the fence which makes them easy targets. You'll need to keep running around the dam observatory chasing enemies and hope that you manage to get enough before the time runs out. Thankfully a lot of pedestrians will spawn where the rampage is based, it's just how quickly you can get through the high number of kills.
Rampage #18
Found in Cedar Grove, Shoreside Vale. Behind a garage beside one of the houses to the West side of Cedar Grove.
Objective
Run over 30 Colombians in 2 minutes! Using a Vehicle.
Tips
Thankfully there's a decent vehicle parked right in front of the garage where you'll find this rampage, but if you can get a Patriot, it'll be a lot easier to clear the sidewalk. You can actually complete the rampage on a bike because the quick turning circle and rapid acceleration is ideal for this one, but your aim needs to be much better too. The only way you'll get through it is driving short ways back and forth along the sidewalk on the street nearby. The enemies only spawn when you're going slowly, so they'll usually spawn behind you, so keep turning and going back on yourself. The less distance you cover, the more enemies will likely spawn, but it'll still take almost all of the time to get the target score.
Rampage #19
Found in Wichita Gardens, Shoreside Vale. In the Western doorway of the most North-Western tower in lower Wichita Gardens.
Objective
Kill 40 pedestrians in 2 minutes! Using a Molotov Cocktails.
Tips
This sounds like a lot, but tons of pedestrians will spawn on the sidewalk next to where you start. Just sprint back and forth down the road and throw your molotovs a far away as you can. Some of the pedestrians will even run through the fire. Stay out of the flames to save your health and this one should be doable in under a minute.
Rampage #20
Found in Wichita Gardens, Shoreside Vale. Between the two Southern-most towers in lower Wichita Gardens.
Objective
Destroy 10 vehicles in 2 minutes! Using a SPAS 12.
Tips
The SPAS 12 is an automatic shotgun which spits out shrapnel like it's going out of fashion. You can actually shoot cars so fast they'll blow up before they've even caught fire, which will cause them to burn then blow up again, doubling your tally. You might struggle to find enough vehicles, but with a few wanted stars, the extra police and ambulances should get you over the line.
Each of the rampages must be completed as a requirement towards 100% completion.
